It is a wine made from grapes that are naturally resistant to the main fungal diseases of the vine, the variety of which makes it possible to eliminate pesticide treatments, consequently they also respect the ‘carbon footprint’ which is the CO2 that is emitted into the air using tractors and vehicles with combustion engines, they also eliminate fertilisation and respect water sources because they are not irrigated, they are drought-resistant. This completely sustainable cultivation in Trentino is called ‘heroic viticulture’ because our resistant vines grow clinging to the rocks high up in the mountains, in an uncontaminated environment. Where every viticultural operation and harvest is extremely difficult and manual. Hence the name White Rock.
