The recipe for a herbal bitter, dated 1850, was discovered by chance in a dusty drawer during a furniture move in the family’s Pharmaceutical Museum. Alberto Foletto, the fourth generation of pharmacists, revisited the century-old formula, re-balancing the drugs and lengthening the infusion time to achieve maximum organoleptic expression. 26 botanicals, including Trentine larch bark, characterise this bitter produced using artisanal methods.
