Descrizione
The name Cervaro derives from the noble family that owned Castello della Sala during the 14th century: the Monaldeschi della Cervara. Chardonnay grapes combined with a small portion of Grechetto to give a wine designed to age over time represent a unique place’s elegance and complexity. Cervaro della Sala was one of the first Italian wines to undergo malolactic fermentation and barrique ageing with its first vintage in 1985.
